Random Fact for a Friday

Once in awhile (if i’m coherent enough or I can remember to), I write my dreams in a small journal. When I did this more frequently, I seemed to have dreamt more. But lately, I’m hitting snooze about 8 times(no joke) before I actually get my ass up to get ready for work. By the time I get around to writing my dreams down, I forget.

There have been two incidences that I had a dream so real, I couldn’t even tell you if it was real life or if it was indeed just a dream. Twice, I woke up to seeing an all black robed figure at the end of my bed. In fact, the first time this happened, I awoke to seeing this apparition along with a crazy pressure against my chest holding me down. The pressure was so strong that it paralyzed my whole body and strapped me down in my bed. All I could do was look up and try and scream my way out of whatever was holding me down. Except, my vocal chords had been cut off and any chance of speaking or screaming wasn’t possible. This feeling lasted for two very long torturous minutes and once I was able to snap out of this state, the apparition disappeared and I was left stunned and wide awake. All I could do was get up and walk around my room in circles completely bugged out. The second time wasn’t as bad, but the black robed figure came back to visit and just disappeared.

I think I was about 23 when this happened. Even back then, I wasn’t scared of death knockin at my door. But shit, that doesn’t mean I was ready to take that trip with him just yet. Next time I see that dude, ima have to do everything in my power to snatch that robe off em and use that shit as an extra blanket. At least it will keep me warm for these cold ass winter mornings.
