This year has taken me by storm. I’ve been pretty quiet on the blogging tip due to incredible amounts of work at the J-O-B and working on more personal art endeavors. Since the year started I was finally given the opportunity to hire someone under me (5 years later…). I did my own resume screening as well as interviewing which took away from the mountain of work that kept piling and piling up. I needed to find someone quick otherwise, I would’ve literally drowned in my own work.
Three months later and I found my guy! He started his 4th week(i think?!) today, and so far so good. We vibe really well and he’s been quickly adapting to the LRG lifestyle (meaning constantly being on your toes ready for an attack on your character, bringing his boss (me) beer and working under the pressure of our elite marketing team dubbed, ICP (Insane Clown Posse, and no, we do not listen nor partake in any Juggalo gatherings, it’s just a bunch of crazy fools ready to test every bit of you at any given moment hoping you will crack). New guy even gave me a little gift! How sweet of him to give me some mini speakers he got from buying a carton of Mild Seven Japanese cigarettes at the duty free.
Other than the chaotic environment at work and my never-ending workload, I’ve been coming home everyday to work on personal projects. I started creating some art last year from an idea I had two years prior using all of my collected stickers. It mixes design, collage and papercutting. One life dream and goal I have always had was to someday host a gallery show with my artwork. I was never really sure what I would be displaying given that I haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years and my sketchbook continues to collect dust somewhere in my office (I’m pretty sure it’s on my bookshelf), but I think I found my niche. Now I just have to keep at it and keep creating. I even went as far as branding myself through this type of art I have been creating. You can view my stuff HERE.
So without any expectations, I’m going to keep doing what I do, do it as best as I can (always) and try to get somewhere with it one day (i definitely do not want to work for someone forever). Oh and somewhere in between, I have to squeeze in eating, exercise and sleeping. Ready? GO!

and hopefully in the near future, my Etsy shop will be open so you can cop some of my creations.
peas y’all and good night.

Thanks to the homey Mr. Urban Dictionary himself, SNSTV. Your posts and street jargon are greatly appreciated.

On this day of every year, I share something very special with these people.
I have no idea why there isn’t a red carpet event being thrown for us with none other than Ryan Seacrest hosting it.
